YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy policy.

How Shift45 Marketing handles information when you visit this website, get in touch or request the scorecard.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

Who is responsible for your information?

I’m Aston Lincoln, the person behind Shift45 Marketing and the controller of personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email aston@shift45.marketing.

Information you provide

The enquiry form collects your name, email address and message. The scorecard form collects your first name and email address, plus your biggest marketing challenge if you choose to include it. I also receive information you send by email. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or confidential information about other people.

Required fields are needed to respond to an enquiry or deliver the requested scorecard link. The marketing-challenge field is optional. You can contact me by email instead of using a form.

How and why I use it

  • Enquiries: to respond, understand your needs and discuss possible work. The basis is my legitimate interest in handling business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract where applicable.
  • Scorecard requests: to provide the workbook link and respond to any request you include. The basis is my legitimate interest in fulfilling the resource request you make.
  • Website operation: technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details and server logs, may be processed by the hosting service to deliver and protect the site. The basis is the legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website.
  • Optional analytics: to understand which pages and resources are useful and measure successful enquiries and scorecard requests. The basis is your consent.

Requesting the scorecard does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The forms do not enrol you in newsletter marketing.

Cookies and analytics choices

The website uses WPConsent to remember your cookie choices. The current preference duration is 30 days. Essential technologies support site operation and your privacy preferences.

Google Analytics 4 is loaded through Google Tag Manager only after you allow Statistics cookies. It measures activity such as page visits, downloads and successful form submissions, together with technical information about your device and browser. The lead-tracking events do not include the name, email address or message entered in a form. Google Ads and remarketing tags are not part of the current setup.

Analytics cookies include _ga and _ga_RGQCGCE7F5. Open the Cookie Preferences control on this site for the cookie descriptions and to accept, reject or change your choices. You can withdraw Statistics consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place lawfully. You can also remove existing cookies in your browser.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s privacy policy.

Where information goes

Form submissions are stored in the website’s WordPress system and sent by email so I can handle your request. Hostinger provides the website hosting. Hosting and email service providers process information as needed to operate these services. Google processes analytics information when you consent to Statistics cookies.

Service providers may process information in countries outside the UK. The protection and transfer arrangements depend on the provider and service. You can ask me for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data. Google explains its international processing in its privacy policy.

Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on why the information is needed. Enquiry correspondence and form submissions are kept for handling your request, any resulting work and relevant follow-up. Information may need to be kept longer where required for legal obligations or resolving a dispute. The criteria are whether the original purpose remains active, whether there is an ongoing business relationship, and whether a legal or evidential need remains. You can ask about the information held about you and request deletion.

Cookie expiry and analytics retention are separate from the retention of enquiry emails and form submissions. Cookie descriptions are available through Cookie Preferences.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, have it erased, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exemptions.

To make a request, email aston@shift45.marketing. I may need information to confirm your identity before responding.

You can raise concerns with me and you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
